Been looking into binding and book paper for a while now to no avail-either cant find what I'm looking for or its too expensive! but alas now it is all coming together. Found some great book paper from Arctic Paper and also from a local stockist-just in case something goes wrong. Its cream paper-90gram. I didn't want white as i think the stark color schemes would look better on cream.
The binding was becoming a bit of a worry too however now have enlisted the help of a friend of mine whose studying a degree in Book Arts and she is going to bind my book for me. I wanted a more self sufficient way of binding my books in keeping with the self sustaining topics-Eco friendly ideas behind my project.
I am going to LCC to meet my friend tomorrow-to pic out what covers, colours, types of binding i want-fingers crossed it all works out OK!

possible packaging options?
chapter
scaling my research i have found what my chapters will be
-Biological (what makes up a designer-witty take on a designers biology)
-Individual (different types of people-fashion,product etc-different design disciplines)
-Sociocultural (interaction of social and cultural elements-how designers interact, where etc)
-environmental (highlight the urban environment waste etc)
These images will use restrictons on paper and ink as suggested by teresa-this is inkeeping with my original plight for the environment but at the same time emphasises a continuous narrative and illustrative interest. The actual images will be very simplistic but effective. Each chapter will be slightly tongue in cheek-witty with its comments with a more seious undertone about our depleting environment-resources etc thus using the images, research i have produced and collated already.
reference point-andy riley type narrative
